SMOKENHEART GUNNER

The athlete with a ranch mind.

Smokenheart Gunner is a gray son of ELS SCOTTISH SMOKE (ELS Smoke N Playgun x ELS Scottish Missy) and out of HEART BAR EMILU REED — Heart Bar Dude x Juana Reed.

Top side is all performance royalty: PLAYGUN by FRECKLES PLAYBOY crossed on GUNNER (Colonels Smoking Gun) — the NRHA Hall of Fame, $12 Million dollar reining sire — with PEPPY SAN BADGER underneath. Bottom side brings it back to the begining with old Joe Reed / Reed ranch foundation mares.

What he throws:

Pretty, good-minded colts that can move. Expect grays, smoky buckskins and palominos — and a huge stop on the colts. Bred to be cowy, athletic and trainable — reining, cowhorse, ranch riding, roping and all-around using horses that still have enough bone and foot to work all day.
